1. The concept:
You can either leave it to our team to come up with an imaginative treatment for your video or we can work with your own ideas and concepts.
We would ask you to send us the track you want to us to produce a video for, also a brief synopsis of any ideas, storyboards, themes or concepts that you may have – don’t worry if you’ve not thought about any of this, or if you only have a vague idea, as we can help you come up with the right idea for your track and your budget. The next stage is to either arrange a meet up or, depending on your location, have a chat over the phone about things such as locations and what your final budget will be.
2. Decide your budget
Your budget is one of the first things to decide as it dictates what is going to be possible in your video and the overall level of production that will be possible. A heavily story boarded video will tend to cost more than a simple performance video especially if multiple or costly locations are to be used. We have access to many great locations throughout the UK that are free to use and others that are very cost effective.
Its always worth thinking about what you can bring to the table yourself – does your uncle have a helicopter or a stately home that you could borrow for an afternoon?
The bottom line is that as with any kind of production, the higher the budget the more work can go into your video, so upping the production value and overall quality of your finished product. Once a budget is agreed we guarantee not to go over that budget, so long as your requirements and the logistics do not alter.
3. Choose locations
The next thing to consider is the location for the shoot. We have an array of locations including many that are free to use, that not only look great but will significantly help keep your costs low. We have access to a number of fantastically atmospheric derelict buildings as well as studios, clubs and venues throughout the UK. We also know many areas of stunning natural beauty that are great usable locations. We also have a selection of fantastic locations throughout Europe, including the South of France, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Czech, Germany and Italy – where we can provide luxury villas, speed boats, limos, helicopters, cars, girls etc.
Once all the logistics have been discussed and finalised, we arrange a date for the shoot. At this point we ask for a 50% deposit of our agreed fee to confirm the shoot date.
5. The Shoot
The most important thing about the shoot for us, is that everyone enjoys themselves. People tend to be at their most creative when there’s a good vibe in the air – we must be doing something right because we’ve had very positive feed back about the experience from just about everyone we’ve worked with. We work quickly and efficiently on shoots and always strive to maintain energy and enthusiasm in both ourselves and those we work with.
After the shoot we put together a rough edit with a time-code and preview it to you via a private Youtube channel so you can give feedback and have a creative input to the editing process. This process continues over several more edits ( the amount of adjustments is dependant on your budget) until you’re happy and sign off the final cut.
Super Fast Turn Arounds!
One of our specialities is super fast turn around.
As we handle a high volume of work, usually we would require around three weeks from shoot to final edit to ensure the correct time and care is taken and our high standards are maintained with every single video that we produce.
Under special circumstances we can fast track your video and can take your video from a simple idea to TV screen in a matter of days – Our current record is from shoot to Music TV channels in just 4 days!! But please don’t challenge us to break this record!!
7. Sign off
When your happy with the final video you sign it off.
Once we have received final payment we will send you the finished video via file transfer.
We usually provide the video in 2 formats, one for Youtube/ Vevo, and one at the spec for TV broadcast.
8. Get your video on TV!
